Other policies to note:
Hopefully, everyone will get better (including our trooper teachers), and the rest of the term can be healthy and safe for all!
Well, it's a new dance year anyway...
Welcome back to all returning students and welcome to Masterworks if you're new here! It IS a happy time to begin another year of learning, friendship, and movement.
There are so many benefits to dance: increased strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance, developing a sense of rhythm, sensitivity to music, and coordination, building confidence and expressiveness, learning teamwork, and experiencing sheer joy.
As with all worthwhile things, there will be challenges. Learning choreography can make your brain hurt. Sometimes, you just can't get that pirouette or that jump to work. It's frustrating. Stretching stretches more than just your muscles--it stretches what you think you're capable of. Same with all those crunches and planks. You work harder than you thought you could. It takes discipline to keep at the things that are challenging, but discipline is a great life skill. With much effort comes much reward!
We hope everyone has a rewarding year in 2016-2017. If you have any questions, ask at the front desk or call 946-5617.
