For awhile there it seemed that instead of "always winter and never Christmas" (Chronicles of Narnia), it was never winter and almost Christmas.
After our first snow melted away, we have indeed been blessed with more. Maybe, it's here to stay. The snow may not be everyone's favorite. It certainly slows down traffic and makes the roads more dangerous. But it also adds a bit of wonder and beauty, especially when it falls in big, fat flakes.
It also makes it seem like Christmas is actually around the corner. And while that may cause some anxiety due to all that tends to come with Christmas, it also creates some excitement.
After all, would we be in the mood for a "Taste of Christmas"? if there wasn't any snow? That would be a shame, as Masterworks' one-hour Christmas show is a delightful smattering of festive-themed song and dance. The perfect way to start December. Make sure you get your tickets online or at the front desk (slightly cheaper). Invite some friends who've never had the experience. It's going to be lovely! (There will be yummy baking for sale as well.
Remember: December 3rd, 2;00 p.m. the show starts, at 430 Lakewood Blvd.
If you're in the show, rehearsal starts at 11:30 (bring a lunch). Come with hair/make-up done and base attire on. Baking can be dropped off then or a half-hour before the show.
